During this class, you will learn how to create beautiful
botanical illustrations working from real life flowers and inspired
by classic botanists and illustrators, such as Maria Sibylla Merian
and others. We are going to focus on simple, clean compositions of
budding plants or single flowers, using white space creatively and
mastering fine linework and expressive brushstrokes with
watercolour.
Eva will guide you through basic and advanced watercolour
techniques, discuss composition and colour theory, while you
release your creativity and gain confidence in your artistic
abilities.
All materials are provided; just bring your beautiful self!
New to painting?
No problem, Eva will be there to guide you from start to finish.
Soak up the relaxed and arty setting and be inspired by like-minded
people as you unleash your creativity with watercolours. By the end
of the class, you'll have stunning hand-made artworks!

drink while creating!

Where is the workshop located?
The workshop will be held on the first floor of the shop at 103
Clarence Street, Kingston, London, KT1 1QY.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately, the
workshop space is located on the first floor of the shop and is not
wheelchair accessible as there is no lift. We deeply regret any
inconvenience this may cause. Please feel free to reach out to us
directly if you have accessibility concerns.
Is there a refund policy?
Refunds are available up to
7 days before the event. Unfortunately, refunds cannot be issued if
there is less than 7 days notice. If you can’t attend, you may
transfer your ticket to someone else by letting us know in
advance.
Is the workshop suitable for children?
The workshop is designed for adults, but older children (aged 14+)
are welcome if accompanied by an adult. It's actually a great
family activity that helps create memories together along with
learning a new skill.
Do I need to bring any art materials?
All materials for this class are provided. However, you can
purchase anything extra from the shop on the ground floor. There is
a big collection of art materials in very competitive prices.

4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
7. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
8. The venue operates a No Smoking Policy.
9. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
